This computer is a work computer that has recently been upgrade installation of Windows XP. Before I describe the problem, I just want to state that reformatting is not an option (not even sure it would help)Anyway, this started happening when Windows XP was installed - Every time I boot the computer, the display settings are lost and defaulted to 640x480 @ 4 colors. I cannot change either of these settings UNLESS I uninstall the display drivers, and reinstall them (which is a pain). I have tried all types of drivers for this card, and have not had any success.Anyone able to help? Have you tried Omega's newest? He has done a good amount of work to include good Fire GL support in his driver set. I recommend using his above all else.

A direct link to the latest set is below:Have fun! If they dont work, I would make sure that you have your mobo's INF drivers installed.

For Intel, you can download the Chipsety INF utility. For VIA, there is the 4-in-1 Hyperion drivers. You should remember to install these before installing the video drivers because they allow your computer to correctly talk with your vid card.
