The ubisoft launcher was not found far cry 3

OK so I got the Kyrat Edition for christmas and have spent all of christmas day trying to get it working:/I Have Reinstalled DX11, VCredist and NET Framework with no results.I have used the Dependancy walker to show the problems, and this is what I see:I don't know what the API files are and why they are missing, and why the FC464.DLL says 'Could not find the section that owns the delay import directory'HALP! Hey ParticlePunch,My exact error using Dependancy Walker. I've tried the DirectX and C reinstalls. I've tried to install the missing files that FC4.exe is looking for but that hasn't worked. I'll keep looking. Write back if you find anything.

Removed and reinstalled game last night. Dependency Walker's main error is with FC64.dll and a bunch of dependencys associated with it.

I tried sticking in the DLL's it asked for and still no go. Original DW's errror logror: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in an implicitly dependent module.Error: Modules with different CPU types were found.Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found.Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.Warning: At least one module was corrupted or unrecognizable to Dependency Walker, but still appeared to be a Windows module. I have the same problem. I've now done the installation and patch update twice. At the behest of Ubisoft support, I've reinstalled DirectX, MS C 2010 SP1, and.NET 4.5.1. The game still crashes immediately and displays the 0xc00007b error code. I'm waiting on next steps from Ubisoft support.

All other games work fine regardless of the game client system being used. I'll grab the latest dependency walker and post my findings to compare with everyone else's as soon as I can get to it and I'll post any updates from support that are worthwhile.Dan. Okay, I ran the dependency walker and got similar results as others with it all starting with FC64.DLL. Other threads mentioned getting rid of that file and running a file verification and repair operation to solve their crash problem. So, I renamed that file to FC64BAD.DLL and then ran a file verification from the Ubisoft app. It reported multiple missing or corrupt files (it did not list file names) and it recommended running a repair, so I did. The repair operation downloaded and installed 48MB worth of files.

Afterward, I was able to launch the game and start a new single player campaign. Looking forward to finally getting to play this thing!Anyway, I recommend trying the same thing I did. BTW, the file verification op is started from a drop-down menu that can be accessed by clicking the down-arrow to the right of the button labeled 'Play Far Cry 4'. Damn it all to hell.

Every post on 0xc000007b error points to corrupted DirectX files. You know what it was?? Corrupted DirectX files. Every post on many forums said delete DirectX files. These where the 3 that finally fixed mine.D3Dx1143.dllD3Dx1043.dllD3Dx943.dllNow delete all 3 files from the c:windowssystem32 folder and the c:windowsSyswow64 folder and the download DirectX from Microsoft. Worked for me.What finally sold me was I reinstalled my NVidia drivers and it failed installing ShadowPlay.

When looking at that error NVidia suggested removing those files and reinstallin. Hope this helps someone.

So I tried this, it downloaded 36MB of files but to no avail, the game still gives me the 0x0000007b error. I hope this solution at least worked for some people! Damn it all to hell.

Hope this helps someone. Thanks I followed those steps and deleted msvcr100.dll file & I installed vc redist 64 bit and direct x 11. & working without any compatibility settings.VC redist:Direct X. This worked for me.Delete these two files from c:windowssystem32 msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll then try to run farcry 4 you should get error message saying some.dll is missing then go to C:Program Files (x86)UbisoftUbisoft Game LaunchergamesFar Cry 4SupportSoftwareVCRedist and run the vcredist64 file. I tried it and it worked, but in my case i had to delete these files in the c:windowsSyswow64 folder to make it work. I think you have to keep trying all above until it works. Now that the hardest part its out of the way the game will be a piece of cake.
